Dear Colleagues,

In contemporary society, a profound need exists to address the deeply ingrained issues of gender-based violence, bullying, and their far-reaching consequences on emotional well-being. These issues have long persisted in silence, causing untold suffering, and leaving lasting scars on individuals and communities. It is imperative that we confront these challenges head-on, aiming to understand the underlying dynamics and develop effective strategies for combatting them.

Scope of the Special Issue

This special issue, titled "Breaking the Silence: Understanding and Combating Gender-Based Violence, Bullying, and Their Impact on Emotional Health," endeavors to provide a platform for in-depth exploration, discussion, and analysis of these pressing societal concerns. It seeks to bring together academic scholars, researchers, and practitioners to foster a better understanding of the multifaceted aspects of gender-based violence and bullying while shedding light on their profound impact on emotional health.

Review articles and original research articles are welcome. Topics of interests include, but are not limited to, the following:

Gender-Based Violence (e.g., intimate partner violence, sexual harassment, and human trafficking)

survivors' emotional well-being.

Bullying and Cyberbullying across Age Groups

Emotional, Psychological, and Mental Health
