Well-Being in the Post-Pandemic Scenario: Exploring the New Avenues of Environmental and Social Psychology

Dear Colleagues,
The novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) affected the mental health and wellebing of people globally. The reasons for the wellbeing concerns include the fear of infection, concern about loved one’s health, high death tolls, non-socialization and so on. The indirect impacts such as economic distress, social isolation etc. also led to impact the wellebing of people. The pandemic scenerio weitnessed wellebing concerns, remedies and mechanisms to support people. Pademic situtation alrmed the need of the proper wellbeing measures for each individual. After this pandemic crises , though it still raises the concerns of different variants, the countries start relaxing the restrictions and coming back to normalcy. The opening of public places, offices and educational institutions raises another concern such as fear of infection, difficulty in socialization etc. People came back to their earlier life cycle and the busy schedules were resotred. The mental health and wellbeing concerns during this stage starts differing from the previous scnenrio of issues.
This Special Issue titled “Well-being in the post-pandemic scenario: Exploring the new avenues of environmental and social psychology” focuses on the current state of knowledge on well-being and mental health concerns, status and measures during post pandemic scenario, on practical implications for wellbeing measures and health-promoting actions, and on interdisciplinary collaborations between services to promote mental health and wellbeing.
We welcome a diversity of articles, such as conceptual and empirical articles, reviews, critical comments, and meta-analyses, for submission to this Special Issue. We will accept manuscripts from different disciplines, addressing topics related to the scope.
