Dear Colleagues,

The incidence of bullying experienced a significant increase in students. Victims of bullying can experience physical, verbal, and psychological violence. Acts of physical and verbal violence against victims cause trauma in the short and long term. The impact of bullying behavior is that it causes the victim to become anxious, stressed, hallucinated, social isolation, low self-esteem, and even causes the risk of suicide. These disorders include poor social adjustment as well as psychological disorders in victims.

Efforts to overcome bullying need to be done by various parties, namely health workers, parents, adolescents, schools, government, and the community. School-based interventions are needed to reduce bullying behavior in students. This is because many bullying incidents occur in students. School-based interventions serve to prevent and reduce incidents of bullying in schools.

This special issue on School-Based Intervention for Preventing and Reducing Bullying focuses on improving mental health in students by preventing incidents of bullying through school-based interventions.

We welcome a diversity of articles, such as conceptual and empirical articles, reviews, critical comments, and meta-analyses, for submission to this Special Issue. We will accept manuscripts from different disciplines, addressing topics related to the scope.
