Dear Colleagues,

    Leadership and behavior play crucial roles in shaping the workplace environment. Effective leadership involves guiding and inspiring employees to achieve organizational goals and fostering a positive and productive work culture. Leadership in the workplace environment is the practice of guiding, inspiring, and influencing individuals or teams towards the achievement of organizational goals. It involves taking responsibility, making decisions, and effectively managing people and resources. Leaders should exemplify ethical behavior and promote ethical practices within the workplace. They should adhere to organizational values, promote fairness and integrity, and take a stand against unethical conduct. By setting a strong ethical example, leaders establish a foundation of trust and respect.

    Behavior in the workplace environment refers to the actions, attitudes, and conduct of individuals within the organizational setting. It encompasses how employees interact with one another, how they approach their work, and how they adhere to workplace norms and expectations. Promoting positive behavior in the workplace creates a harmonious and productive environment. Organizations should establish clear expectations, provide training and resources, and foster a culture that encourages and rewards positive behavior. By cultivating a positive work culture, organizations can enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall performance.

By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, leaders create a culture that attracts and retains top talent while driving organizational success.     This special issue focuses on leadership behavior in the workplace, and the types of leadership used in the work environment, and the positive effects that are reflected on the behavior of individuals in the workplace, and the resulting positive outcomes for employees.

    We welcome a diversity of articles, such as conceptual and empirical articles, reviews, critical comments, and meta-analyses, for submission to this Special Issue. We will accept manuscripts from different disciplines, addressing topics related to the scope.
