In the author’s exploration of the literature, little seems to be known regarding the potential value of self-reflexive practice in exploring the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) and its related phenomena. The thesis is presented in narrative format and based on personal experience and insights, supported by a non-systematic review of the literature on self-reflexive practice and the 4IR. This perspective argues that one of the most impactful transformational competences in the context of the 4IR, is arguably what is known as self-reflexive practice (SRP). Through this practice we elucidate our conscious and unconscious assumptions and orientations towards the 4IR and associated phenomena. The aim of this article was to highlight the importance of self-reflexive practice as a critical skill for navigating the complexities and challenges presented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In this article SRP is conceptualised as the critically informed stance of reflexive dialogue with the self, regarding conscious and unconscious realities. It is argued that the value of SRP lies in its capacity to a) foster critical thinking, b) manage paradoxes, dilemmas and complexities that are characteristic of the 4IR, and c) create psychological “containing spaces” for complexity, ambivalence, and ambiguity. Thus, reflexivity as a way of being, could help us reshape and reorient how we relate to the 4IR and enable practitioners to learn from experience (through deep reflection) about themselves, their work and the way they relate.

This paper reports on the perceptions of teachers as employees regarding the efficiency of employee health wellness in overcoming work and family issues. Employee Wellness Programme plays a pivotal role in the lives of employees to ensure balance and stability, mitigate life challenges and promote “Work-Life Balance”. This study used a qualitative approach to explore the perceptions of the teacher as an employee on the efficiency of Employee Wellness Programmes in overcoming family issues. The “face-to-face semi-structured” interviews were conducted with eighteen teachers who were sampled using non-probability sampling and participants were selected purposefully. The interpretivism phenomenological research design aided the study in exploring the phenomenon. The data was analyzed thematically, and ethical principles were adhered to to ensure the quality and rigor of the study. The findings of the study revealed that for employee health wellness to be inclusive and easily accessible to employees, there must be a deliberate effort to decentralize wellness services. Moreover, management support and clearer intentional policies that extend to the significant others of employees such as children and partners may improve the functioning of EWP. |

Green technological innovation has become a pivotal tool for driving economic restructuring and achieving environmental sustainability. However, in the face of complex and volatile market and policy environments, a critical question remains: how can enterprises effectively select and implement innovation pathways to address environmental turbulence? Drawing on data from 14,751 Chinese listed companies from 2012 to 2022, this study employs dynamic capabilities theory and a fixed-effects panel model to examine the impact of dynamic capabilities on firms’ choice of green innovation pathways. Results show a significant positive influence of dynamic capabilities on green innovation, although this effect varies depending on the research and development model and the level of environmental turbulence. Firms with high dynamic capabilities tend to favor independent research and development, with an effect coefficient of 0.778 (p<0.01); firms with moderate dynamic capabilities benefit more from cooperative research and development, with a coefficient of 0.045 (p<0.01); and firms with lower dynamic capabilities primarily pursue green innovation through technology transactions, with a coefficient of 0.052 (p<0.01). Furthermore, environmental turbulence significantly moderates the relationship between dynamic capabilities and green innovation negatively, with an interaction coefficient of -0.088 (p<0.05), indicating that environmental uncertainty weakens the positive impact of dynamic capabilities. These findings suggest that firms can select suitable research and development models aligned with their level of dynamic capabilities and adopt flexible innovation strategies to effectively manage environmental turbulence. This study proposes the following policy recommendations: enterprises should strengthen their dynamic capabilities, particularly in knowledge acquisition, resource integration, and adaptability to environmental changes, to enhance their green innovation capacity. Additionally, the government should increase policy support for green technological innovation by offering financial subsidies, tax incentives, and intellectual property protections, helping enterprises maintain their innovation momentum amid environmental turbulence. |

The robustness of civil society plays a pivotal role in shaping the aftermath of disasters. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the question arises: why did some cities witness widespread resident protests, while others remained relatively calm? Certain theoretical studies have suggested that urban economic disruptions stemming from external disasters can significantly undermine social stability, yet these studies lack empirical validation of the underlying mechanisms. This research endeavors to explore the factors within urban resilience that influence social stability during major public events, a topic that has received scant attention in existing empirical studies.Utilizing data from the Chinese General Social Survey (2021), this study introduces an empirical causal analysis framework integrating the "entropy value method" and "fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA)" to investigate the following: (1) The univariate test reveals that the consistency level of all conditions is below 0.9, indicating that no single-dimensional factor alone can enhance social stability. (2) The absence of urban economic resilience emerges as a critical conditional variable contributing to non-high levels of social stability, thereby serving as the primary driver of social instability. (3) Group analysis identifies three distinct pathways through which urban resilience impacts social stability: the "economic-ecological-resource" support path, the "economic-ecological-risk" mitigation path, and the "economic-ecological-challenge" resolution path. |

Since the nineteenth century, the primary goal of university dance programmes has been to enhance students' dance skills, while the development of artistic expression has been neglected. Tai Chi training has been shown to be an effective method of exercising the mind and body to enhance perceptivity and body creativity. However, there is still less research on its impact in teaching dance performance in universities. Therefore, this study aims to address two fundamental questions: (1) How does Tai Chi training affect students’ perceptivity and creativity in dance performances? (2) What are the specific effects of enhanced perceptivity and creativity on the state of dance performance? In order to answer these questions, this study utilized a qualitative research methodology involving 43 dance students from Hunan Women's University in China. The research methodology included a 10-week Tai Chi training program at Hunan Women's University in Hunan Province, China, and semi-structured interviews with participants. The findings reveal how Tai Chi training enhances dance students' perceptivity and creativity in dance performance and explains its effectiveness on the state of oneness of mind and body in dance performance. This exploratory study provides preliminary evidence for understanding the impact of Tai Chi training on mind and body awareness in dance and provides a basis for incorporating more mind and body exercises into dance education in the future. |

The increasing prevalence of e-commerce has transformed online shopping into one of the most favored methods for consumers. This study investigates the factors influencing initial e-trust formation toward e-commerce adoption, focusing on information quality, web interface, and company reputation. It aims to assess how e-trust affects customer satisfaction and the sustained use of e-commerce, and explores the moderating role of perceived privacy concerns. Utilizing a randomized distribution of questionnaires among 236 participants, and employing a seven-point Likert scale, the study gathered data both online and offline. Statistical analyses using SPSS AMOS confirmed the acceptance of all proposed hypotheses. The findings reveal that e-trust, grounded in goodwill-trust theory, significantly influences trust and satisfaction, thereby enhancing future purchase intentions and positively affecting online shopping behavior. The study demonstrates that understanding and addressing the antecedents of e-trust is crucial for fostering consumer satisfaction and promoting continued e-commerce adoption. Notably, Post-COVID-19 consumers showed a decrease in privacy concerns compared to Pre-COVID-19, indicating reduced fear and apprehension associated with online shopping. This reduction in privacy concerns is linked to an increased likelihood of repurchase behavior. Theoretical implications suggest that the research provides valuable insights for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), helping them enhance customer trust and satisfaction, thus gaining a competitive edge over larger e-commerce firms. The findings underscore the long-term impact of e-trust on consumer adoption in the globalized e-commerce landscape. |

Interest in the immersive expression of dancers in contemporary performances is growing, often relying on body knowledge and awareness. However, a noticeable gap exists in empirical research aimed at enhancing body awareness within the modern dance education system. The aim of this study is to investigate on the oneness of mind and body the influences of breathing, perceptivity, imagination, and creativity. Employing a quantitative research methodology, this study administered a questionnaire to 47 dance students at Hunan Women's University in Hunan Province, China. Regression studies carried out reveal a comparable positive and substantial association between creativity and the harmonization of mind and body as well as a positive and significant link between breathing and oneness of mind and body. Interestingly, the relationship between perceptivity, imagination, and the oneness of mind and body did not exhibit statistical significance. We posit that the lack of a significant relationship may be influenced by variables extending beyond the scope of dance, suggesting the need for deeper investigation in the future. These findings not only contribute to our knowledge of dance but also have practical implications for dancers, educators, and researchers in the field. |

Suicide has become an alarming phenomenon among the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) with reported cases showing an increase each year. This cross-sectional study examines the association between depression, emotional intelligence (EI), hopelessness, and the prediction of suicidal ideation among police officers in Malaysia. A total of 2,508 police officers in 15 police contingents and the Royal Malaysia Police Head Quarters completed the questionnaires. The Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) was used to measure depression, and the Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS) was employed to calculate overall emotional intelligence. The hopelessness variable was measured via the Beck Hopelessness Scale (BHS). The Revised Suicide Ideation Scale (R-SIS) was used to measure the tendency and severity of suicidal intention. The data were analysed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 29.0. The study found that emotional intelligence showed a significant negative correlation with suicidal ideation. Depression and hopelessness were significantly positively correlated with suicidal ideation. Further analysis using the logistic regression approach (stepwise) revealed that both depression, and hopelessness, were risk factors that influenced suicidal ideation among the police. Mediation analyses show that emotional intelligence and hopelessness act as mediators in the relationship between depression and suicidal ideation. Therefore, mental health professionals can design appropriate prevention and intervention programmes for those with suicidal ideation. |

Using questionnaire survey data conducted in Nanjing, China, this study investigates the impact of age on the digital divide among the elderly population and explores the moderating role of intergenerational communication. Through empirical analysis, it was found that increasing age significantly reduces the probability and duration of elderly people using the internet, but intergenerational communication can alleviate this negative impact to some extent. Specifically, increasing the frequency of contact with children promotes the acceptance and use of internet technology among the elderly, while the increase in meeting frequency significantly prolongs their internet usage time. This discovery emphasizes the important role of intergenerational interaction in promoting the digital integration of the elderly, providing a scientific basis for formulating relevant policy measures aimed at narrowing the digital divide among the elderly by enhancing the quality and depth of intergenerational communication. |

Emotional expressivity is related to physical and mental well-being. However, there is no instrument for evaluating emotional expressivity in Bangladesh's cultural context. The Berkeley Expressivity Questionnaire (BEQ) is a commonly used instrument for measuring emotional expressivity, which consists of three correlated facets: positive expressivity, negative expressivity, and impulse strength. Therefore, this investigation aimed to adapt and validate BEQ in the Bangla language and Bangladeshi culture through two independent studies using classical test theory (CTT) and item response theory (IRT)- based approach. In Study 1, 377 participants (Mage = 25.52, SD = 1.18) were finally selected, where 244 (59%) were men and 133 (41%) were women. The confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the revised 15-item 3-factor model is the best model of the Bangla BEQ version. Additionally, the measurement invariance test results proved that this instrument is consistent across men and women. Furthermore, internal consistency analyses revealed that the total scale and its three facets sub-scales have acceptable reliability. In Study 2, 553 participants |

Lacking the resources for hands-on scientific experimentation could impact both students' educational experiences and their long-term proficiency. Without access to laboratories, students miss out on crucial opportunities to engage in practical applications of theoretical concepts, hindering their ability to comprehend scientific principles fully. The purpose of this exploratory study was to analyze the experiences of science teachers (n=20) from last-mile schools in the Philippines. Narratives from science teachers were the primary data in this study being collected through one-on-one interview. Thematic analysis revealed that the science teachers were challenged by insufficient resources available in their laboratories while others conduct experiments only in their classrooms while having class. Adapting to their concerns, teachers were able to maintain their instructional competence through hands-on demonstrations, visual and audio-visual presentations, interactive activities, and printout instruction. For science teachers, addressing these challenges requires concerted efforts from policymakers, educational institutions, and stakeholders to ensure equitable access to resources and professional development opportunities for teachers. The study emphasized the need for sustainable solutions to bridge the gap between resource-rich and resource-poor schools, ultimately enhancing students' educational experiences and long-term proficiency in science. |

The study involved 147 faculty members, both permanent and non-permanent, during the 2008-2009 academic year, from four campuses: Isabela City, Sta. Clara, Lamitan, and Maluso. A stratified random sampling method was used to select 107 teachers, which included 44 permanent and 63 non-permanent staff. A survey was conducted to collect socio-demographic information such as age, gender, marital status, ethnicity, education, teaching experience, subject area, and employment type. Faculty performance in the specified areas was assessed using the NBC-461 Standard Performance Rating Form. Results indicated that faculty performance was rated as Outstanding by teachers, peers, and supervisors, while students rated it as Very Satisfactory. Notable differences were found in ratings from various evaluators, with teachers generally rating themselves higher than their peers, supervisors, and students. The study showed that performance levels remained consistent across age, gender, employment type, or subject area, but were significantly influenced by educational qualifications and teaching experience, with higher levels of both leading to better performance. These insights suggest that focused strategies at both the departmental and institutional levels could improve teaching effectiveness and support the achievement of educational objectives. |

Ensuring that the curriculum is aligned with the latest standards, guidelines, and best practices in nursing education and healthcare can be challenging. Developing fair and effective assessment methods to evaluate students' competency can be difficult. It is essential to ensure that assessments and pedagogical approaches accurately reflect the knowledge and skills students need as future registered nutritionists and dietician. The purpose of this study was to assess the challenges experienced by faculty and program administrators in relation to the mandates stipulated in the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Memo Order No. 14, series of 2017. Faculty (n=37) and program administrators (n=5) were randomly selected from five higher education institutions in Mindanao, Philippines. Findings indicated that the administrators and teaching staff manifested low level of trust issues on the implementation of the curriculum. Consequently, they feel positive about the design, execution, and outcomes of the program. However, it is important to note several challenges they experienced. Lack of doctorate programs in institutions, absence of vertically articulated doctorate programs, and outdated library materials were the most prominent challenges the faculty and program administrators experienced. They also noted challenges related to excessive workloads for faculty beyond their Individual Daily Plans, the absence of Registered Nutrition and Dietetics (RND) professionals in food service establishments to supervise practicum experiences, and a lack of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with accredited Level III hospitals for practicum training programs. |

The "Six Arts" is a core component of the ancient Chinese education system. With the rapid development of digital technology, this ancient educational concept has regained attention in the tourism industry. This study aims to optimize the traditional visit form of the "Six Arts" cultural exhibits in the museum through digital means, changing it to a digital immersive experience, so that the "Six Arts" culture can be fully understood by tourists and increase their interest in visiting. The study is a mixed research method of qualitative and quantitative, and the study is divided into three stages. 1. Study the ancient and modern experience methods of the "Six Arts"; 2. Check the learning purpose of various skills of the "Six Arts" and select appropriate digital means to design the experience form; 3. Design a model display, combine the experience of skills to form a solution, and distribute questionnaires to tourists visiting the "Six Arts" in Shandong Province to evaluate the feasibility. Through the study of the novel digital experience of the "Six Arts", it brings fun to the tourists and improves interactivity. And the study of digital expression can fully display cultural relics and immersive experience skills, bringing historical culture closer to tourists. The study shows that the digitization of the "Six Arts" enhances the interaction between tourists and culture, can deeply understand the "Six Arts" culture, and increase the interest of tourists to visit. The "Six Arts" cultural exhibits currently on display are all traditional display methods of object display and text description, which cannot be digitally iterated and can only be explained using traditional electronic guides. The experience form of the "Six Arts" described in the literature is relatively boring, and tourists cannot truly understand the cultural value of the "Six Arts". |

The active aging model has sparked discussions about improving the participation of older adults in the workforce and their overall well-being. This has led to a greater emphasis on providing continuous learning opportunities, offering flexible work arrangements, and creating health programs specifically tailored for this demographic. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to investigate the association between labor participation and subjective well-being and to identify important factors that influence subjective well-being in older adults. The measurement of subjective well-being encompassed two key dimensions (i.e., life satisfaction and depression). The study recruited 202 elderly individuals in Hebei Province, China, through a cross-sectional method. Our findings revealed that the percentage of elderly individuals participating in the workforce was relatively low. There was a notable positive association between labor participation and life satisfaction. Additionally, labor participation and educational attainment are found to be significantly associated with life satisfaction among older adults. In summary, the findings of this study are essential for providing ideas to promote healthy aging and optimize the allocation of human resources. |

Music, as an emotional expression and adjustment tool, has a significant impact on the mental health of teenagers. Through a four-week experiment, this study explored the influence of music on teenagers' emotional state, psychological resilience, anxiety level, self-cognition and life satisfaction. The subjects were divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group listened to healing music for 30 minutes every day, while the control group conducted quiet meditation activities. The mental health status of the two groups of teenagers was measured and compared by psychological scales such as PANAS, RS, STAI, self-concept and life satisfaction. The results show that the experimental group is significantly better than the control group in emotion regulation, psychological resilience improvement and self-cognition, which proves that music has the potential to promote the mental health of teenagers. This paper discusses the theoretical and practical significance of these findings. |

The maritime industry is at the forefront of a technological revolution with the advent of intelligent ships, which integrate modern information technology and artificial intelligence. Disclosed by Clarkson Reserach from 2019-2023,over the past five years, more than 95% of global ship construction has been dominated by China, South Korea, and Japan, with nearly 100% of new builds incorporating these advanced technologies. This rapid integration underscores the urgency for future maritime professionals to acquire management skills specific to intelligent ships. With China leading the charge with over 50% of the world's annual shipbuilding completion, it is of paramount importance to integrate intelligent maritime courses into the undergraduate navigation curriculum in China, including both academic and vocational education. This paper leverages big data descriptive analysis from global annual shipbuilding completion to argue for the necessity of incorporating intelligent navigation courses in undergraduate majors within China's navigation technology education. The descriptive analysis of big data is the analysis of various characteristics of a set of data in order to describe the characteristics of the measurement sample and the overall characteristics it represents, and to reveal the characteristics with charts, curves and other visual methods, provide advice and reference to user when making decision . It discusses the current state of navigation technology education, the importance of aligning curriculum with industry development, and the challenges and strategies for implementing intelligent navigation courses. The paper also explores the role of software and technology in these courses, the significance of industry collaboration, and the methods for evaluating and continuously improving the curriculum. |

In the context of the informatization reform of education, teachers and principals are faced with new requirements to enhance their teaching abilities and virtual instructional leadership, respectively. This study focuses on primary school principals in Chongqing, aiming to construct a virtual instructional leadership structure model through a comprehensive literature review. A self-designed survey questionnaire was developed to investigate the relationship between primary school principals' virtual instructional leadership and teachers' teaching abilities, in order to accurately assess the current status of virtual instructional leadership among these principals. We collected a total of 210 valid questionnaires. The results revealed that while over 85% of principals excelled in teaching supervision and evaluation, several issues persisted, including 12.9% of principals failing to set and explain school goals effectively, 13.1% demonstrating insufficient proficiency in using information technology equipment, 13.5% being unable to establish incentive systems for teachers and students, and 11.7% struggling to seek support from the external environment. Based on these findings, enhancement strategies were developed to address the identified problems. Overall, this study contributes to effectively enhancing the virtual teaching leadership of primary school principals and provides a theoretical foundation for promoting the development of primary education. |

While a number of studies have distinguished spatial and temporal memorization at individual level, none seem to have examined these two memorization modes in collaborative map drawing. After an initial review of the distinctions between spatial and temporal memorization at individual level, and a study of inhibition in collaborative memorization, we present several analyses carried out on 24 collaborative drawings from an urban spatial exploration. We compare metric and temporal measurements on these drawings to identify possible relationships between metric and temporal approaches, depending on whether group members proceeded individually or collectively in the urban exploration prior to the collaborative drawing phase. - Based on 6 landmarks common to all drawings, an initial approach to metric and temporal measurements is carried out by comparing the distances obtained from the graphs created on the drawings, with the temporal measurements deduced from the video recordings. While the metric measures correlate well with the physical space (Google), they neither enable us to observe significant relationships between metric and temporal distances, nor to discriminate sufficiently between the groups. - A second approach has therefore been taken, this time comparing the distances obtained from the starting point of urban exploration with landmarks’ order of appearance in the videos. In this case, the correlations obtained between metric distances and landmarks’ order of appearance prove to be significant for the group that interacted collectively in the urban space, but not for the groups that explored individually. Nevertheless, the group that repeated the collective exploration a month later showed relative independence from metric distances, in favor of a more global representation of the environment. |

This study investigates the direct impact of work-life balance on employee affective commitment and employee performance within the hotel industry employees in Saudi Arabia, as well as the indirect role of affective commitment on the relationship between the other two variables. Self-administered surveys were provided to a randomly selected sample of employees as part of the research, which used a quantitative technique. Structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis of 441 valid responses showed substantial positive correlations between W_L_B and both E_P and A_C, with A_C also having a major positive effect on E_P. The study also proved that A_C mediates the relation between W_L_B and E_P. These insights offer hospitality leaders insightful advice on how to foster a work-life balance and increase affective commitment among employees. This will eventually lead to better performance and a thriving, high-performing workforce in the Saudi hotel industry. |

This present study is qualitative research on seven food-based disabled entrepreneurs in Malaysia and key qualities for success. Thematic analysis of the interview results identified four critical success factors that bring much success to the seven interviewees: (1) Resilience was demonstrated where all seven faced challenges but bounced back, like Mahmud overcoming a cancelled pre-order and Amir overcoming bullying, (2) Adaptability and innovation was observed when interviewees demonstrated abilities to adjust to circumstances, like Bety baking cakes after losing her bank job due to hearing impairment and Harith switching to pre-orders to avoid wasted coffee; (3) Determination drives the entrepreneurs to succeed, like Liezda who feels responsible for her family's well-being; (4) Focus on Strengths where the seven interviewees leverage their strengths to their business advantage, such as Mahmud's persuasion skills and Liezda's customer rapport. Equally important is family support, a contextual factor, as family plays a crucial role, with examples like Are-peet's wife who is a good cook and Bety's husband who helps with communication and operational matters. A conceptual framework is proposed to show the interplay of the four critical success factors and the contextual factor. The study recommends that the creation of an inclusive ecosystem enables deserving entrepreneurs with disabilities who run small enterprises to grow. Tracer studies on both successful and unsuccessful entrepreneurs with disabilities as well as development of businesses typologies and related training programs are recommended accordingly. |

The continuing geopolitical dispute between Ukraine and Russia has far-reaching ramifications that impact consumer behaviour on a planetary scale. This study will analyse the determinants that impact Indonesian consumers' intentions to boycott Russian products. An online survey was conducted in April 2022 to collect data, with a sample of 216 respondents selected using convenient sampling procedures. An exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modelling were employed to analyse the data. The results indicate that consumers' anger significantly impacts boycott attitudes, product judgment, and consumer punishment. However, the attitude of boycotting does not substantially affect the desire to boycott, which goes against what was predictable. In addition, although consumer punishment has a considerable effect on boycott intention, the influence of product judgment is not crucial. These findings contribute to the current body of knowledge in international marketing research, particularly on consumer boycotts. |

The purpose of this study was to validate the conceptual model of the coopetitive paradox proposed by Gnyawali et al.[1] This qualitative study, using grounded theory, involved 54 executives from 25 companies from Ecuador’s agriculture sector. The results validated and complemented the conceptual model of the coopetition paradox, filling up important knowledge gaps related to the sources of the dualities and contradictions that drive the paradoxical coopetitive situations in an inter-company network. New findings indicate that the willingness of firms for collaborate with competitors is influenced by the competitive position, the emphasis on the strategic development of the sector, and the interest in long-term sustainability, inferring that an individualistic business culture that emphasizes competitiveness significantly limits the drive for coopetitive strategies. It was also found that the ability to identify and manage sources of tension in coopetitive relationships is determined by the structure of managerial thinking in top managers. As a result of this study, 13 new tentative propositions were incorporated into the theoretical model. This represents an important contribution on strategic management by highlighting the meaning of coopetition to increase the perceived value of customers and the network, even in the presence of conflicts, rivalries and divergent interests. |

Effective fiscal management enables school leaders to strategically allocate funds for critical needs such as instructional materials, infrastructure, and staff development, directly impacting the quality of education. Proper fiscal management also promotes transparency and accountability, develop trust among stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and the community. This paper developed a fiscal management model applicable to academic institutions in the Philippines. This paper analyzed the fiscalizing behaviors of school heads (n=738) from 26 districts of the Schools Division of Samar, during the School Year 2022-2023. They were asked about their fiscalizing behaviors in five constructs: budget planning, formal review and approval, implementing the budget, monitoring of fund, and fund communication. Their responses from open ended questions were used to design a model that represented the leadership-system-change interaction through thematic nodes. Findings indicated that the school heads exhibited generally positive fiscal management behaviors, particularly excelling in fund communication, budget planning, formal review, budget implementation, and fund monitoring, indicating strong adherence to sound financial practices. However, they face challenges such as resource sufficiency, not enough MOOE, depletion of funds,” and the urgent need of a building. Consequently, the model established the importance of collaborative leadership and strategic decision-making in school financial management. Strategic prioritization allows schools to allocate resources effectively, even in the face of challenges like budgetary shortfalls or unforeseen circumstances. Leadership behaviors can also be linked to the success of the fiscal management practices within their institutions. |

The fast pace of change in the business world has shown the value of emotional intelligence (EI) in successful leadership, so companies are boosting their ROI by putting resources into EI leadership development programs for leaders. Although EI has been gaining increasing attention around the world as one of the key factors behind improved leadership and performance results, there is still considerable uncertainty about how it works in different industries. This study will fill this void by carrying out an all-encompassing, multi-industry investigation on how emotional intelligence contributes to the development of leaders and in turn, aids in improving organizational performance. It utilizes a mixed-methods design that incorporates both quantitative and qualitative data to depict how EI influences leadership effectiveness in different industries including healthcare, finance, technology, as well as manufacturing. It delves deeper into the association of leadership competencies that are grounded in EI, and performance outcomes (e.g., employee satisfaction and team productivity) as well as organizational success. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to comprehensively explore EI’s impact on leadership effectiveness across four key industries: healthcare, finance, technology, and manufacturing. This paper adds to the growing literature on leadership development by highlighting how emotional intelligence makes a difference in leadership across different sectors. ProcA Resonates with new leadership training ProcA results suggest a roadmap of practical applications in creating more industry-specific leadership training programs. The results also propose a direction for future research on novel EI-enhanced interventions to develop adaptive and resilient leadership in a rapidly moving commercial landscape. |

Developing literacy skills at an early age is essential for the overall cognitive, social, and emotional growth of children, as it forms the foundation for their academic success and lifelong learning. Early exposure to literature enhances language development by expanding vocabulary, improving comprehension, and promoting critical thinking. This qualitative exploratory paper described different strategies that elementary teachers implement in fun English classes. This study examined the impacts of fun-based teaching strategies in developing the literacy skills of elementary students, focusing on how these strategies contributed to the development of key language competencies, specifically writing and speaking skills. Elementary teachers (n=12) were purposively sampled to be interviewed. Elementary teachers observed that fun English lessons significantly increased student engagement in both writing and speaking activities. Students were interactive, less fearful of making mistakes, and demonstrated greater enthusiasm and participation. Activities such as storytelling, roleplaying, and creative writing encouraged students to express themselves more freely and confidently. Teachers observed improvements in sentence construction, use of vocabulary, and overall expressiveness, particularly among shy students who became more comfortable speaking in front of others. The study also identified three specific strategies—gamification, group work, and roleplaying—that were effective in enhancing literacy. Teachers used games to build vocabulary and grammar skills, group activities to encourage brainstorming and discussion, and role-playing to promote speaking and creative writing. These strategies created a dynamic learning environment that supported both language learning and personal development. Consequently, teachers are encouraged to embrace dynamic and student-centered approaches to create an engaging English learning environment. Fun-based learning strategies should be intentionally designed to support both receptive and productive language skills, providing students with opportunities to practice English in context. |

Fitness Qigong is an important part of Chinese history and culture, and is one of the traditional intangible cultural heritage projects. In recent years, the mental health issues of college students have become a focus of attention in universities. Fitness Qigong is different from other sports programs in that it emphasizes the combination of movement and stillness, as well as the process of regulating the mind. It helps to improve the pressure brought by life, study, employment, and other aspects, and is one of the important means to promote the mental health and regulate emotions of college students. Therefore, it is very necessary to continue and promote this traditional sports project. The main research subjects are ordinary female college students, and data was collected using questionnaire survey and experimental methods. The questionnaire tool used was the Symptom Checklist-90, and the data was analyzed using mathematical statistics. The results show that college students can significantly improve and enhance their mental health by learning and practicing fitness qigong, which can eliminate tense emotions and reduce psychological pressure; Learning and practicing fitness qigong has effectively improved the psychological quality of college students. Based on this, it is suggested that ordinary higher education institutions should attach importance to the development of traditional fitness qigong sports; Ordinary higher education institutions need to expand the teaching staff for the fitness qigong program; Physical education teachers should promote and popularize fitness qigong courses. |

Public art, due to its convenient participatory function and strong social integration ability, is being widely used in the protection, adaptive reuse and innovation of urban post-industrial landscape. In the process of urban renewal, although different forms of public art practice have brought many positive values and benefits to post-industrial landscape, such as the preference for sustainable development of the city, the continuation of urban context or the concern for local community residents based on “top-down” and “bottom-up” cases. Meanwhile, a series of fatal weaknesses arise are ultimately attributed to fragment and single protection of post-industrial landscape. The goal of this study is to systematically review and classify articles on the involvement of public art in post-industrial landscape (a process for screening articles was designed) in order to more clearly find out the positive values and fatal weaknesses of public art practice in various process of post-industrial landscape protection based on both “top-down” and “bottom-up” models. Most previous studies have focused on case analysis and have not discussed this issue or used this method. Therefore, the study is valuable. The conclusions of the study show eight positive values and seven fatal weaknesses in the application of public art practice in post-industrial landscape. It should be pointed out that “inspiring interaction and involvement” and “strengthening community identity,” are the most important factors in the practice of public art in post-industrial landscape. In the future stage, we should focus on and address the issue of "how to establish long-term artistic practice?” and “how we can better balance interests and rights among multiple stakeholders?" within public art academic ocean. |

This study, based on organizational support theory, explores the relationship between young college teachers' sense of organizational support, professional identity and research motivation, with the aim of revealing their incentive mechanism. The study shows that teachers' perception of school support significantly and positively affects their research motivation, including the two dimensions of instrumental support and emotional support. The results of a questionnaire survey of young teachers from 120 universities across the country show that there is a significant positive correlation between the sense of organizational support and research motivation, and that professional identity plays a mediating role between the two. In addition, the study also found that gender differences play a moderating role in the relationship between organizational support and research motivation, and there are significant differences in the performance of male and female teachers in this relationship. Based on these findings, this paper suggests that universities should create a good organizational support environment, pay attention to enhancing teachers' sense of professional identity, and consider gender differences in policy formulation, in order to more effectively motivate teachers' research motivation and thus improve overall research efficiency and quality. The research results provide practical guidance for the research management and incentive mechanisms of university teachers, and enrich the application of organizational support theory. |
