This study aims to investigate the factors contributing to academic cheating behavior among university students at a university in Hefei, Anhui. The author randomly selected 165 ordinary students (60 males and 105 females) from different majors, including accounting, finance, and architecture, and the data was collected through a primary survey. The survey results indicate that although most respondents perceive the seriousness of cheating behavior, they still choose to engage in cheating, which is thought-provoking. Today's university students are tomorrow's employees, and the moral values they adhere to influence their behavior. It is essential to make all students aware of the reality of academic integrity on campus and the consequences of violating academic ethical standards. Based on this purpose, the researcher conducted a factor analysis of the influencing factors that contribute to this situation. |

Studies showed that unethical practices in public procurement may hinder construction projects and economic development, particularly in developing cities and states, such as Edo State, Nigeria. The Nigerian Government enacted the Public Procurement Act (2007) to address the issues. Many states domesticated the Act, including Edo State (Edo State Public Procurement Law (ESPPL) 2020). However, implementation in some states may be challenging and can thwart achieving Sustainable Development Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities – SDG 11). This study investigated ESPPL implementation issues in construction projects and their outcome to Goal 11. It also proffered ways to boost implementation and, by extension, improve achieving SDG 11 and related SDGs. The researchers engaged knowledgeable respondents within Edo State, Nigeria, via a questionnaire survey approach. This study analysed the collected data with descriptive statistics. The results showed that the issues facing ESPPL implementation can hinder the achievement of Goal 11 if not curbed. As part of the study’s implication, the researchers proffered measures to mitigate the issues and, by extension, improved the achievement of Goal 11 and other SDGs related to construction project performance and excellence. |

The economic development programme aims to increase income and reduce indigenous people's poverty while introducing indigenous economic resources. This study appraises indigenous people’s effectiveness of economic development programmes in Perak land development projects (RPS), Malaysia. The researchers adopted a mixed-method approach involving 300 respondents for the questionnaire survey and 15 interview participants in the selected locations in Perak, Malaysia. The qualitative data were analysed by thematic analysis and the quantitative data by SPSS software. Findings show different effects between RPS Legap, RPS Ulu Kinta, and RPS Air Banun. The implementation can be less successful at RPS Air Banun due to the threat of wildlife such as elephants and wild boars. The findings also show that the indigenous people in the area are not carrying out rubber planting projects because of the possible damage from the wild animals. This threatens Goal 1. The situation in RPS Ulu Kinta and RPS Legap is different; the indigenous people enjoy the crop project results by receiving monthly dividends. This study will contribute to informing policymakers to develop a platform for improving Malaysia’s indigenous programmes and, by extension, improve the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 1 (Goal 1). |

The fisheries industry holds significant value, both economically and ecologically, contributing to food security, employment, and sustainable resource management. By advocating for responsible consumption and supporting local fishers who prioritize sustainable methods, young people can help ensure the health of fish populations and aquatic ecosystems. This exploratory study analyzed the career aspirations of fishery-oriented students from Zamboanga City, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi. Fisheries students (n=30) were purposively sampled to be interviewed. They were asked about how they perceived their career aspirations and how the program influenced their perceptions. The study revealed that the quality of experience in the fisheries education program significantly influences students’ career aspirations. Effective program implementation leads to increased student engagement in the fisheries industry. Students with extensive laboratory experience were more likely to pursue laboratory-based careers, while exposure to global issues like overfishing and climate change motivated them toward sustainable fisheries management. Hands-on training and practical experiences, including fieldwork and laboratory projects, enhance students' competencies and confidence, preparing them for real-world challenges. Essentially, a positive learning environment fosters both skill development and professional aspirations among students, ultimately shaping their career paths in the fisheries sector. |

Nowadays, it is observed that digital life around the world is causing a transformation of social norms. The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable social norm scale in the self-rating type and to examine its psychometric properties in the social media age. Data was collected from 620 people from across Türkiye on a voluntary basis. As a result of the studies, the 28-item and 5-dimensional Uskudar Social Norm Scale (USNORM) was developed. The dimensions of the scale were named as “Lack of guilt and regret”, “No remorse”, “Emotional instability”, “Insensitivity to legal problems”, “Crime tendency”. The scale explained 51.72% of the total variance. The Cronbach Alpha value of the scale was found to be .89. In the confirmatory factor analysis study, goodness of fit values was found to be within the acceptable range. Some of the conclusions obtained through psychometric analysis are as follows: (a) The social norm perception level of those who use social media for 4 hours or more a day was found to be the lowest, (b) As the frequency of opening live chat on social media increases, the social norm perception level decreases, (c) The social norm perception level of those who stated that they ended their relationships after fighting on social media was low and was observed in the medium-strong impact area. The valid and reliable scale developed in this research will provide concrete data to the literature. |

This study examines the impact of online time on well-being among Abu Dhabi residents using data from the fourth Quality-of-Life Survey. Unlike prior studies, this research explores multiple determinants: online time, happiness, subjective health, mental health, self-perceived obesity, exercise, satisfaction with family life, and social relationships. A significant path model reveals that online time adversely affects mental health, self-perceived obesity, sleep quality, and exercise, but positively correlates with happiness and subjective health. The negative effects on mental health notably influence happiness, family life satisfaction, social relationships, subjective health, and exercise. Mental health also mediates these relationships, underscoring its importance in overall well-being. Differences in online hours and well-being determinants are found across gender, age, education, nationality, and marital status. The study underscores the need for interventions to mitigate the adverse effects of excessive online time and improve well-being across demographic groups. |

This study explores consumer behavior in art management through a social psychological perspective, focusing on cultural variations, digital transformation, and regulatory impacts. Employing a mixed-methods approach, we analyzed data from 1,500 art consumers across major global markets. Our findings reveal distinct psychographic profiles and regional differences in art consumption patterns. Western markets prioritize aesthetic value (β = 0.58) while Asian markets emphasize investment potential (β = 0.63) and social prestige (β = 0.52). Digital platform adoption varies significantly, with Asian markets showing 85% engagement compared to 62% in Western markets. Markets with comprehensive regulatory frameworks demonstrated 45% higher online art sales, and intellectual property protection strongly correlated with market growth (r = 0.68). Social media significantly influences art discovery and purchases, though its impact varies across cultural contexts. Policy environments, particularly tax and digital transaction regulations, substantially affect market development. This research contributes to understanding evolving consumer behavior in the digital age across different cultural contexts and offers practical implications for developing culturally sensitive art market strategies and supportive regulatory frameworks. |

TikTok use has rapidly emerged as a global phenomenon, transforming from a niche social media app to one of the most popular platforms worldwide, especially among younger generations. Its short video format can be utilized to break down complex concepts into bite-sized, easily digestible content, making learning more engaging and accessible. The study purpose was to explore the impacts of TikTok contents on the students’ motivation for linguistic competence in the English language. This exploratory study used narrative data from one-on-one interviews represented into themes. College students (n=12) were purposively sampled to be interviewed in the study. Findings indicated that exposure to TikTok videos helped students develop their vocabulary, particularly informal language and slang, which strengthens their awareness of real-life communication and language use. TikTok encouraged students’ language confidence by creating a relaxing environment in which they may witness and emulate normal language use, so lowering language anxiety and promoting more natural interactions. Being able to connect people from different linguistic backgrounds, TikTok allowed students to interact dynamically with content, resulting in a better awareness of linguistic diversity. TikTok and its educational content features—such as the subjects, subtitles, clear pronunciation, and appealing visuals—help to develop listening, reading, and comprehension abilities by providing context, assisting with memorization, and reinforcing language patterns. Integrating TikTok into educational practices allows instructors to harness its extensive capacity to cultivate creativity, motivation, and a deeper involvement with learning materials in a format that aligns with the preferences of today’s digitally proficient students. |

Interpersonal relationships form the foundation for effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration, which are critical for achieving organizational goals. When employees maintain healthy relationships with their colleagues and supervisors, they are more likely to experience a sense of belonging, mutual respect, and support, which enhances their job satisfaction and overall well-being. This paper analyzed the quality of interpersonal relationship and job satisfaction of the local government employees in Sulu, Philippines. Employees (n=200) were conveniently sampled from 10 local government units (LGUs) in the province. Likert-scale was used to describe the interpersonal relationship and job satisfaction of the employees, as well as the challenges they experienced relevant to these aspects. Descriptive analysis indicated that the LGUs were very satisfactory in maintaining positive working environment. The employees also had high level of job satisfaction following effective communication, cooperation and collaboration measures, salary, and administrative support. Despite these, they were still expressed concerns about difference of family culture and practices, unequal distribution of workload, lack of incentives/awards, having little participation in policy-making activities, among other subtle challenges in work dynamics. This paper opens an opportunity to have inclusive and equitable environment—where cultural differences are acknowledged, workload distribution is fair, and employees feel recognized and involved in decision-making processes—the quality of the work environment can be further developed. Implementing policies that offer incentives and encourage more employee engagement in governance can help deepen job satisfaction and organizational loyalty. |

When an individual sustains an injury during sports, the manner in which the injury is managed has a direct impact on the recovery process and the athlete’s long-term well-being. Immediate actions, such as ceasing the activity, administering first aid, and stabilizing the injury, are essential in preventing further harm. Hence, it is essential to implement effective sports injury response strategies to protect the well-being of student-athletes participating in college sports programs. This mixed-methods paper explored the application of socio-ecological model (SEM) in understanding the response mechanisms of college students toward sports-related injuries. Students from Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) College of Sports Science and Physical Education (CCSPE) were conveniently sampled (n=60) to be interviewed about their experiences and perceptions regarding sports injury response in the campus. The findings indicated that an individual’s immediate emotional reaction, such as fear, anxiety, or empathy, influenced their decision-making process during an injury event. The responses at the intrapersonal level also involved an individual’s ability to manage their emotions and remain composed in high-stress environments, which directly impacted their ability to take effective action, such as alerting appropriate personnel for help or assisting the injured individual in the best possible way. The interpersonal level extended beyond the individual, emphasizing the importance of external relationships, such as those with peers, teammates, coaches, and family members. These social connections were key determinants in shaping behaviors during emergencies, as individuals often relied on the support, guidance, and reassurance of others when responding to crises. Sports organizations and educational institutions were responsible for implementing safety protocols, training athletes and staff on how to respond to injuries, and ensuring the availability of medical resources such as first-aid kits or emergency medical personnel. Finally, policies that mandated injury prevention programs, established safety standards for sports equipment, and enforced protocols for handling injuries contributed to shaping how individuals perceived and responded to risks in sports. Recognizing the influence of multiple levels—individual, interpersonal, organizational, and policy—on injury response, this approach highlighted the need for a comprehensive, multi-contextual strategy to enhance the effectiveness of injury prevention and response systems. |

A mindset shift is a profound transformation in an individual's beliefs, attitudes, and cognitive frameworks. It involves a reevaluation of one's assumptions, leading to a new way of interpreting and interacting with the world. This shift is not merely a change in perspective but a deeper restructuring of how a person understands a particular concept or situation. This exploratory paper analyzed the phenomenon of mindset shift among agriculture-oriented course in ZAMBASULTA. College students (n=30) were purposively sampled to be interviewed in this study. Themes were extracted from the interview narratives. This study observed a significant shift in the mindsets of agricultural and biosystems engineering students after enrolling in the program. Initially, many students viewed agriculture as a fallback profession for those without higher education, expressing skepticism about the field's value. However, after exposure to the program, their perspectives shifted towards a more positive and informed outlook. They began to appreciate the complexity of agriculture, its critical role in the economy, and the importance of technology, quality, and innovation in advancing the sector. Students' language also reflected this change, as they began to use terms that showed greater respect for farmers and the agricultural industry, highlighting how the program developed a deeper understanding and appreciation of the field. The findings might have direct application on educational strategies aimed at promoting agriculture-related programs, helping to reshape students' perceptions and attract more young people into the field. By understanding how mindset shifts occur through exposure and hands-on learning, educators and policymakers can design curricula that emphasize the importance of agriculture in national development and global sustainability. |

The value of practical experience in nursing education cannot be emphasized. In order for nursing students to advance their knowledge and abilities, they must interact with actual clients. But getting community clients to participate can be a difficult endeavor. This study will investigate the communication techniques used by nursing students in Jolo, Sulu to persuade members of the community to take part in educational activities. Establishing rapport and trust with clients is one important tactic. Students may make the learning environment secure and comfortable by building healthy relationships. Good communication is also essential since students need to answer any worries or inquiries that clients may have as well as properly explain the goal of their interactions. Client participation and investment in the learning process might rise when they are included in decision-making procedures. The study's respondents consisted of twenty (20) nursing students who were involved in community engagement or Community Organizing Participatory Action Research (COPAR). Through feedback solicitation and client input incorporation, nursing students can customize their approach to better serve their patients' needs. |

Internet gaming disorder is a type of maladaptive behavior that can arise from gaming activities. Analyzing the risk factors is crucial to understanding the trajectory of the disorder. This study aims to determine the differences between low and high psychological risk factors (loneliness, basic psychological needs, state boredom, and family function) and their relationship with internet gaming disorder. The study also examines the role of risk factors as a potential influence. A cross-sectional design and an online survey questionnaire were utilized to carry out the study. A total of 462 Malaysian young adult players aged 18 to 30 participated (mean=23.44, SD=3.00). The findings indicate that the psychological risk factors have significant differences and relationships with internet gaming disorder symptoms, with loneliness, state boredom (including high arousal in boredom), and family function appearing as influential factors. However, the basic psychological needs in life do not significantly have relationships and cannot be influenced by the internet gaming disorder. Although the study has limitations in terms of generalizability, the findings can be valuable for guiding future comprehensive studies on internet gaming disorder among young adults, especially in the Malaysian population. |

Coaches and sportsmen and women have long paid more attention to individual factors that predispose to sports practice and how they are able to affect performance, both in training and during competitive performance. Despite this, to date, very little research has analyzed the relationship between individual variables such as sense of self-efficacy, personality factors and flow status and investigated their possible implications. The aim of the present work is to verify through the comparison of two different samples (competitive athletes and practitioners) the possible relationship and difference between these variables. The research participants were 425 (male 162, female 263) The research participants practice various types of sports (volleyball, football, tennis, swimming, dance, etc.), among them 43.5% practice sports at competitive. Participants were recruited in specific sports centers. The results confirm the indirect effect of the Flow state between antecedents and outcomes, and they confirm that there are differences between those who engage in competitive sports and those at the amateur level. The study reveals significant practical implications regarding the effect produced by the flow state during performance, and this effect is enhanced when the motivations of those seeking to achieve the goal are stronger. |

Early marriage, which can have a number of negative impacts, is one of the biggest social concerns facing students. This study looks at how dropping out of school to marry a young person or have a kid under the age of 18 affects education. There has been minimal research on the effects of early marriage on the academic experiences of high school students in one of the cities in Mindanao, Philippines, other than its effects on population growth, school dropout rates, and reproductive health. This research will help us understand the social effects of early marriages on students' academic achievement.By analyzing this issue, we can identify the reasons behind it and develop strategies to decrease its negative effects. This study used an exploratory research design. The Twenty (20) high school participants' comments were recorded during the interview process using purposeful sampling, which produced a qualitative data collection method. The study's conclusions highlight the societal and economic elements that influence students' decisions to leave school early in order to get married young. These elements have been connected to a number of outcomes, such as poor attendance, insufficient study time, and a change in emphasis away from academic achievement, all of which have the potential to periodically increase the dropout rate. |

The integration of AI in hotel enterprises presents both opportunities and challenges. While AI has the potential to automate tasks, increase efficiency, and enhance guest experiences, it may also raise concerns that could negatively impact employees. This paper, grounded in the Job Demands-Resources Model and the Technology Acceptance Model, examines the effect of AI awareness on emotional exhaustion, with a focus on the moderating roles of job crafting and technological self-efficacy in the context of hotel enterprises. To test the hypothesized model, 388 responses from full-time employees working in five-star hotels were analyzed using a PLS-SEM approach. The results revealed a positive correlation between AI awareness and emotional exhaustion. Additionally, the relationship between AI awareness and emotional exhaustion is moderated by technological self-efficacy and job crafting. This research deepens our understanding of how employees in high-contact service industries can adapt to digital transformation while maintaining their well-being. The findings offer valuable insights for hotel management, HR professionals, and policymakers to help support employees in addressing the psychological challenges tied to AI adoption. Moreover, the study emphasizes the role of job crafting and technological self-efficacy in reducing emotional exhaustion, encouraging positive adaptation to AI, and ensuring successful technology integration while prioritizing employee well-being in the hospitality industry. |

This study investigates the factors influencing sustainable logistics practices among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) using an extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework. A mixed-methods approach, including a large-scale survey and semi-structured interviews, was employed to collect data from SME managers across various industries. Structural equation modeling revealed that attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control significantly influence SMEs' intentions to adopt sustainable logistics practices, with these intentions strongly predicting actual behavior. Adoption intention fully mediates the effects of attitude and subjective norms on sustainable logistics behavior, while partially mediating the effect of perceived behavioral control. Firm size and industry type moderate these relationships, highlighting the importance of contextual factors. The findings offer valuable insights for policymakers and practitioners, suggesting that initiatives focused on improving attitudes, strengthening industry norms, and enhancing perceived control may effectively promote sustainable logistics practices among SMEs. Future research should explore longitudinal effects and additional contextual factors to further understand the dynamics of sustainability adoption in the SME sector. |

Rural tourism is the embodiment of the combination of rural industry revitalization and cultural revitalization. As an important part of the conformal development of rural tourism, cultural inheritance and innovation are also facing challenges in the aspects of talent inheritance, publicity methods and content innovation. University student volunteers are as cultural inheritors, educators and innovators of rural tourism. And cultural volunteer activities also promote students in psychology level. Through an in-depth discussion on the cultural inheritance and innovation of university student volunteer participation in rural tourism, this study states that although university student volunteer participation has brought fresh vitality and innovative thinking to the cultural inheritance and innovation of rural tourism, it also faces challenges such as imperfect team building mechanism, incorrect targeted service content, single activity form, lack of in-depth thinking of tourism resources, and insufficient integration with rural revitalization. In response to these challenges, this study proposes to strengthen the institutional construction, diversification construction, depth construction and brand construction of university student volunteer participation for rural cultural tourism, so as to consolidate the cultural foundation of high-quality development of rural tourism and promote the integration of rural culture and tourism as an important force for rural revitalization. |

With the rapid development of global economic integration and e-commerce, the logistics industry has become a critical driver of economic growth, placing higher demands on the quality of logistics professionals. As the future backbone of the logistics industry, higher vocational students majoring in logistics play a crucial role in meeting these demands. However, their learning behavior is often affected by various internal and external factors, such as insufficient motivation, improper learning strategies, and limited resources. This study explores the factors influencing the learning behavior of logistics vocational students from the perspective of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). We focus on vocational students because they represent a key group that will directly impact the future development of the logistics industry. By understanding their learning behavior, we can identify strategies to improve their educational outcomes and, consequently, the quality of logistics professionals. Our findings indicate that students' attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control significantly influence their learning intentions and behaviors. Among these factors, subjective norms have the most substantial impact, highlighting the importance of social pressures and industry standards in shaping students' learning motivations. The study also reveals that learning behavior plays a key role in translating students' intrinsic factors into actual learning actions, partially mediating the influence of perceived behavioral control. However, gender and grade did not significantly moderate the relationships between TPB structures and learning intentions. The significance of this study lies in its application of the TPB framework to the context of logistics vocational education, offering a novel perspective on understanding student learning behavior. The results provide valuable insights for educators to develop effective teaching strategies and learning support measures, ultimately contributing to the sustainable development of the logistics industry. |

The purpose of this study is to investigate the importance of job satisfaction as a mediator between human resource management (HRM) practices and turnover intention in the banking sector. Data was collected through a self- administered questionnaire, yielding 422 valid responses, which were analyzed using SPSS and SmartPLS to assess both direct and mediating effects. The results identified significant associations between performance evaluation, reward, and job satisfaction, while the association between training and development initiatives and job satisfaction was not significant. Specifically, the study indicated that performance evaluation, training and development, reward, and job satisfaction all have significant relationships with turnover intentions. Furthermore, job satisfaction was identified as a critical mediator in the relationships between performance evaluation, reward, and turnover intention. The findings highlighted the significance of enhancing job satisfaction and provide valuable insights into the intricate relationships between performance evaluation, training and development, rewards, job satisfaction, and turnover intention within the banking sector. This study contributed to the human resource management literature within the context of the banking sector and offers practical implications for researchers, organizational leaders, managers, and policymakers. Policymakers and organizational leaders can leverage these results to inform the development of human resource policies, while human resource managers should implement comprehensive strategies to foster employee satisfaction. Overall, the findings presented important implications for refining human resource management practices aimed at improving employee satisfaction and retention within the banking sector. |

This study employs qualitative research methods to explore the factors influencing the development of student leadership among university students. Through the use of open-ended questionnaires and semi-structured interviews, we obtained in-depth insights into participants’ experiences and perspectives. This qualitative approach facilitates a comprehensive examination of key influences, including emotional intelligence, family support, educational environments, and hands-on leadership experiences. Thematic analysis identified four major themes: pathways to acquiring leadership experience, essential leadership competencies, external influences on leadership development, and areas for improvement in leadership training programs. The findings highlight the complex and multifaceted nature of leadership growth, emphasizing the critical roles of emotional intelligence and practical opportunities in cultivating effective leadership among students. This research offers valuable insights to inform leadership development initiatives in higher education contexts. |

Objective: The aim of this systematic review was to assess the methodological quality of articles on the prevalence of playing-related musculoskeletal disorders (PRMD) in music students tertiary, and to determine the prevalence rate and associated factors of PRMD. Methods: This review included crosssectional studies that described data on music students and were published in English between 1/1/2000 and 9/20/2024. Databases used in this study included, Web of Science (core collection), MEDLINE, sciELO, PubMed and Scopus. Reviewers used the Loney scale to assess methodological quality, and only studies that scored 5 were included. Results: A total of 479 articles have been identified, among which 11 cross - sectional studies were selected for methodological assessment. All of these studies achieved satisfactory scores regarding methodological quality. The prevalence rate of PRMD was remarkably high, varying from 28.9% to 80.7%. Female student musicians were more susceptible compared to those of other genders. Students lacking exercise habits were at higher risk. String and keyboard instrument players had the highest probabilities of PRMD. The traits of anxiety and perfectionism among music students were closely associated with PRMD. Conclusions: Music students are generally affected by PRMD. The gender, exercise habits and emotional traits of students are highly correlated with PRMD. Low response rates are a prevalent issue, and researchers from different continents tend to use different survey tools. |

Recent years, political news consumption among Chinese youth has been notably low, leading to a phenomenon of political apathy. In recent years, the popularity of short video social media platforms, characterized by their vivid, visual, and straightforward content, has grown among young people and has become an essential channel for daily information consumption globally. This paper focuses on Chinese university students and the short video platform Douyin (TikTok), utilizing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as the theoretical framework. Considering the background of the study, which involves political news consumption and the political culture of China, this study developed the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by adding perceived credibility and perceived political efficacy as independent variables. The findings indicate that attitude towards using is positively impacted by perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived credibility, and that behavioral intention to use is positively impacted by attitude towards using. These findings align with hypotheses (H1, H2, H3, H5), while hypothesis (H4), which posits that perceived political efficacy has a positive effect on attitude toward using, was not supported. This may be due to the fact that the do not have high expectations for the political efficacy generated by paying attention to political news. The media and relevant government departments should pay more attention to strengthening the control of the quality of political information when publishing and disseminating political news. Ultimately, enhances the public's enjoyment of obtaining political news through social media, improve the political apathy among young Chinese people, and enhance their political literacy and democratic level. |
